Let's Talk Scrapbooking

I am an educator. I am also a scrapbooker. I am especially interested in starting some dialog with other teachers about scrapbooking, how they use scrapping techniques in their classroom and their programs. I am in charge of developing program content for a large video network and am interested in producing several hour long two-way interactive videoconference sessions for teachers featuring the techniques of scrapbooking.

Is anyone interested in talking about how you've used scrapbooking techniques, materials or ideas for your bulletin boards, center games, student work displays, etc? If so, please feel free to post and let's talk.

Like all scrapbookers I have a huge collection of art materials and scrapbooking supplies am sometimes actually overwhelmed by all of the "stuff" that surrounds me when I sit down to work on scrapbook pages. I am very fortunate that my husband, just had my dream room built for me as a 37th wedding anniversary gift. It's actually a 3 room art studio/apartment which is attached to the side of our garage. It's a joy to work in and is so pleasant.'s still just me in there most of the time. Sometimes the husband and his dog "Buddy" come in and watch a little bit of TV or bring me a sandwich and have a snack before going on about their boy business, whatever it is, for the rest of the day.

It's a great hobby, and I'd like to have others to share it with.
